Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) involves researching, designing, developing and testing of electronic equipment used in various systems.It compiles in Communication Engineering and core Electronics Engineering. The course concept is to focus mainly on the communication part with the knowledge of the electronics field.

BITM is structured with well furnished classrooms specially designed for students. They are spacious, airy and well-lit having the latest training aids with audio-visual interaction and Wi-Fi facility. Well furnished small rooms are also available for specialization and tutorial classes.
1. Tanvi Choudhury, ECE 4th Year 2020 got the 2nd position on IEEE GCAIOT Global conference, 2020
2. 9 students of ECE 4th year and 11 student of ECE 3trd year has completed one week Industrial training at Prasarbharati, Kolkata in the year of 2019.
3. Subhendu Ranjan, B. Tech-ECE-4th Year , Bansika Pandey, B. Tech-ECE-3rd Year, represented the West Bengal Bengal region at National Level Championship at IIT, Delhi on 20th January, 2019.
4. Subhendu Ranjan, B. Tech-ECE-3rd Year, represented BITM in Innovation meet at EDI-Ahmedabad, on 21st June, 2018.
5. Subhendu Ranjan, B. Tech-ECE-3rd Year , along with the team, attend “e-Summit- 2017” on 1st - 3rd of September, 2017, at IIT Kanpur as student E-Leader of BITM, West Bengal.
6. Budhdhadeb Maity Placed at IBM, Kolkata
7. Shubhendu Ranjan Placed at WIPRO.
