A) 1. BBM (H) in Hospitality Management-(BHSM) -Three Years Full TimeDegree Course (West Bengal University of Technology-WBUT)
2. BBM (H) in Travel & Tourism Management-(BHSM) -Three Years Full Time Degree Course (West Bengal University of Technology-WBUT) (* Proposed)
(B) DIPLOMA & CERTIFICATE COURSES:
1. 1 ½ year Diploma courses: (1 ½ year -1 year class + 6 months Industrial Training)
2. 1 year Certificate Courses: (1 year – 6 months class + 6 months Industrial Training)
Courses offered by the Department:
Intake per year in Hospitaly Management = 30
Intake per year in Tourism Management = 38
For UG Degree: 10+2 passed or appeared from any recognised board / Council in any stream.
For 1 & 1 ½ year diploma courses: 10th passed or appeared from any board / Council.
For PG courses: Graduate passed or appeared from any recognised University in any discipline
SELECTION PROCEDURE:-
Students are selected through written test to be held at various centers all over India. Students appearing for
admission test have to pass / appear 10+2, 10+2+3 pattern of examinations in any discipline of recognized
Board/Council or University.
The selection process will take place in a three-tier format:
- Management Aptitude Test (written test)
- Group Discussion / Case Test.
- Personal Interview.
BITM is structured with well furnished classrooms specially designed for students. They are spacious, airy and well-lit having the latest training aids with audio-visual interaction. Well furnished small rooms are also available for specialization and tutorial classes. They are also used for other consultation purposes.
